A rotating cast of fathers routinely assemble in the studio to discuss a wide variety of topics pertaining to the raising of children and the role we play as parents. Every episode focuses on a specific topic which we do our very best to cover thoroughly. Dad jokes are also revered and delivered in abundance.

Frequent co-hosts include Kyle Maurer, Rick Baxter, Ben Kono, Matt Heffner, and Simon Reidsma, all residents of Jackson, Michigan.

Meet our Hosts

Kyle Maurer

Kyle has absolutely no idea what he's doing but is still parenting six kids regardless. He works in software, plays music in a band, makes good quesadillas, loves craft beer, and spends a lot of time staring at maps and daydreaming about his next trip. He also co-hosts an NFL podcast called The Point After and a WordPress podcast called Get Options.

Rick Baxter

Rick knows exactly what he's doing at all times. He's the seasoned veteran of our group and knows everything there is to know about raising children. Rick enjoys TikTok, sour beer, TWSS jokes, and watching other people eat TimBits.

Matt Heffner

You do not want to get between Matt and the basket because he'll throw down on your ass. You don't want to get between him and his garden either. You also don't want to get between Matt and position 1 in the SERPs because he'll destroy you. And never get between him and his destination when he has somewhere to be because he hates being late. He also has a whole pack of kids at home who call him daddy.

Ben Kono

Decisive. A visionary. Punctual. Dedicated. Dashingly handsome. Heroic. These are words used to describe people that Ben has read about in books before. Ben lives to torture Rick with an unceasing barrage of groan-worthy puns. You might say that when it comes to dad jokes, he's the champunion...

Simon Reidsma

Simon has ONLY ONE CHILD. Is he even qualified to be on this show? Seriously! Who let him in the studio? I mean the first kid is the easy one. We all think we're awesome dads when we have only one child. What could this guy have to say? I'm sorry, come back after child number three crushes your spirit...

John Wright

Beneath that gruff, prickly exterior, buried deep within John, is a tender, caring, likable guy. Kind of like a coconut. If you put in a lot of effort, you'll discover he's not a terrible person who hates everyone and has nothing nice to say. Just give him time and don't ask him about Bitcoin.

Adam Silver

I'll say this about Adam. He's tall. And I guess he's pretty good at running. And tennis. And a few impersonations. And podcasting. And showing up at your place unannounced expecting a free meal. And getting up early in the morning. And sending very thoughtful, encouraging texts. And injuring himself at conferences. What a weird guy.

Jake Sinkovitz

I heard he knows some stuff about the Red Wings which is kinda cool I guess. I don't know anything about the Red Wings and I kinda feel about about that. I mean they're the most successful franchise in the history of this state and all I can tell you is Steve Yzerman once played for them. That's pathetic. Don't tell Jake or Rick...

Mikhail Fedewa

Mikhail is the guy who walks the road less traveled. He's a man of high ideals and lives life to the fullest. He's never once laughed at a dirty joke and has been described as a younger, less successful Mr. Rogers.
